The Jefferson County High School Concert Ensembles provides students a continuation of their music education when marching band is not occurring. 

In the fall, concert band will start upon the conclusion of marching season (end of October/beginning of November) during fourth period. Students will mainly focus on preparing for our winter concert in December.

In the spring, the band program will split into two groups offered during second and fourth periods. The Symphonic meets during second period and is available to sophomores, juniors, and seniors by audition only. The Concert Band meets during fourth period and is available to all grade levels with no audition. Music is hand-picked to challenge all members with a focus on growth for both groups.

Both groups will perform on multiple concerts as well as state assessment events in the spring.
