Sponsorship Policies

1. Funds are available to all members of the band in need. Applications will be reviewed by the Band Directors and Booster Officers in the strictest of confidence. The Sponsorship amount will be based on the need of each individual student. (Subject to the availability of funds)

2. Applications will be approved with the following considerations:

   1. Each student must be considered a fully participating member of the band in good standing.​

   2. Each applicant must establish a reasonable need of assistance.

   3. Failure to provide accurate or adequate information will be cause for the application to be denied.​

3. ​The student and guardian are required to participate to the best of their ability in JCHS Band fundraisers and volunteer events.

4. It is the policy, to the extent possible, of the JCHS-TN Band Boosters, no student be denied participation in the normal activities of the band on the basis of financial status. Normal activities of the band do not include optional trips or events.​​

5. Sponsorships do not include shoes or any specialty percussion or color guard accessories. Any student needing assistance obtaining these items should indicate this on the Sponsorship Application. ​
