Hosting ETPAA Qualifier

Volunteers will be needed from 6pm-done for set up on Friday, January 28th & 8am-12am on Saturday, January 29th for the Event

As you are considering Volunteering, please know we can use you for a few hours to all day, anything will assist us with the day​

• Admission Table 

  • Adult Volunteer - Collect Admission Fees for entrance

  • Student Helper - Provide and assist with wristbands, answer questions, give direction to spectators area​​

• Air Grams Table

  • Adult Volunteer - Collect Money for paid Air Grams​

  • Student Helper - Ensure forms are filled properly, run to announcer between groups

• Announcer

  • Adult Volunteer - Introduce each unit following provided script​

  • No Student Helper

• Bake Sale Donation(s)

  • Donate items for our bake sale​

  • Drop off during set up on Jan 28th or early morning Jan 29th

• Bake Sale Table

  • Adult Volunteer - Collect Money for items​

  • Student Helper - Assist with ensuring stocked, selling items etc.

• Clean Up Crew 

  • Adult Volunteer - Assist with setting school back to pre event expectations​

  • Student Volunteer - Assist with setting school back to pre event expectations​

• Concessions

  • Adult Volunteer - Run Concession Window, manage cash register, grill food​

  • Student Helper - Prepare food orders, restock as needed, run for items as needed

• Directors Check In

  • Adult Volunteer - Record each unit, verify number of students

  • Student Helper - Provide Director pre-made packet, answer questions, provide direction to dressing areas/hall assignments 

• Donation Pick Up

  • Adult Volunteer - Pick up and deliver back to school any Donations from local businesses for Hospitality rooms​

• Door Staff

  • Student Helper - Monitor Spectator and Participant Entrance/Exit​, must be willing to speak up if needed to Adults trying to enter or exit at incorrect times etc. 

• Fan Favorite Voting Table

  • Adult Volunteer - Watch over table as voting is done by donation​

  • Student Helper - Assist donator finding their group jar

• Floor/Prop Monitor

  • Student Helper - Help Staff put their equipment in the designated areas​ and ensure others are not disturbing others equipment

• Griller

  • Adult Volunteer - Assist with grilling Hamburgers/Hotdogs for our Concession​

  • Student Helper - Run items from grill area to inside concession

• Hospitality Donations

  • Donate items for Hospitality rooms (we have 3 to stock)​

    • Items can include, snack items, prepackaged or home baked, drinks, meals, sides etc​

    • We must provide Lunch & Dinner as well as drinks & snacks to Judges, Directors & Staff, as well as volunteers. 

    • Items can be dropped off throughout the day up to dinner (~6pm)

• Hospitality Rooms

  • Adult Volunteer - Monitor room, replenish food, communicate needs to Event Coordinator​

  • Student Helper - Assist with set up, cleaning, breakdown and communication if needed

• Parking Attendants

  • Adult Volunteer - Direct parking traffic, assist trucks/busses to designated parking​

  • No Student Helper

• Set Up Crew - Jan 28th

  • Adult Volunteer - Assist with set up for Event

  • Student Helper - Assist with set up for Event

• Student Area Staff

  • Adult Volunteer - ​Verify all who enter area are permitted (direction will be given, dependent on station)

  • Student Helper - Assist with directions for students/staff

• Student Guides (Will only be used if enough volunteer in other areas)

  • Student Helper - Lead performing groups to warm-up and performance area​

  • **Sign up for another area as well, we will only be able to have Guides if all other areas are fully covered**

• Warm-Up Area Staff

  • Adult Volunteer - 2 Warm Up Areas Time each group in designated area, make aware of timing by holding up provided signage

  • Student Helper - If no Student Guides, help move groups from Warm UP A to B to Holding

• Volunteer/Student Helper Check In

  • Adult Volunteer - Check in Volunteer/Student, ensure sign in/out and give direction on expectation for day​
