Hosting ETPAA Qualifier
During our Winter Season, hosting the ETPAA Qualifier is our single largest event we have at JCHS. This event takes well over 100 volunteers to be successful. Additionally, this is our largest fundraiser where we have the ability to bring in well over $10,000 to support our band.
Qualifier is a must to any group which wants the chance to compete in Finals. We expect to have over 50 groups performing. This event allows us to showcase our facilities as well as our student and parent volunteers. This brings a sense of pride to our students as we are there to support them as they perform in this event and prepare for the Indoor Percussion and Winter Guard Seasons.
We need more help for this event than any other. Please see the volunteer information below and help where you can. Even if you can only come out for 2 hours, those 2 hours helps our band! Bring your friends, bring your kids (high school age), bring your church, bring your coworkers, bring your parents, neighbors, anyone. We really need a commitment to help and follow through. This event takes a lot to plan and lay out, having everyone signed up and showing up is extremely important. It is very difficult day of to just throw someone into an area when it wasn't planned for.
If you have questions, please ask, we need your help! All band students should also sign up to assist for time slots you are available. If in Winter Guard/Indoor Percussion, you should be available for most of the day, we will work around your performance schedule.
