Required Forms

All forms listed are required. PDF's Print and sign, if you do not have a printer, please be prepared to complete paperwork during check in the first day of Full Band Camp.

Band Camp Prep

  • Eat Breakfast every morning

  • Drink water often (begin prior to camp to help reduce dehydration chances)

  • Wear the right shoes! No sandals!

  • During Camp eat lunch and dinner. (Full band camp; meals are provided)

  • Rest! Be sure to get at least 8 full hours of sleep a night.

Camp Checklist

  • Instrument

  • Reeds, mouthpiece, sticks, mallets, valve oil, slide grease, any other needed materials

  • Flag and equipment for Guard

  • 1 Gallon water jug or Camelbak filled and ready to use

  • Sunscreen

  • Socks & Tennis Shoes

  • Shorts (No pants)

  • Hat or appropraite head covering

  • Sunglasses

  • Chapstick

  • Deodorant

  • Extra change of clothes including socks

Parent/Guardian Information

  • Ensure your student is healthy and following established guidelines

  • If your student is feeling ill, they should remain at home and contact the Directors

  • Student should have their own water bottle and sunscreen each day (if you need assistance with this, contact the Boosters)

  • Student should sanitize their personal equipment before and after each day

  • Discuss with your student all guidelines and expectations to ensure they have an understanding of their personal responsibility 

  • Students may wear a mask if you/they wish, it is no longer school mandated

  • Fill out all required paperwork prior to camp, there are 2 items at the bottom of the page which must be printed and signed as well as a required form to fill out online

Drop off/parking information
Freshman & Full Band Camp Only

  • All Students must drive through our check in stations prior to parking or being dropped off

  • Enter the parking lot from the HWY 92 gate, turn left and drive around back of the school

  • Check In station will be by the entrance to the gym.

  • All Students being dropped off MUST be checked in prior to exiting their vehicle and entering the building

  • Students driving themselves will park in the back parking lot and check in as they walk into the school

  • All Students will enter the school through the hallway by the gym, (Boosters will be there to give direction)

  • Exit the parking lot by going straight, exiting by the Tennis Courts onto W. Dumplin Valley Rd

Student Information & Responsibilities

  • Properly shower and wash each day

  • Bring your own water bottle & sunscreen daily

  • Brass Players -- Bring a towel or rag to collect your instrument condensation (clean one each day)

  • Do NOT share or touch other students' or their belongings

  • No loitering before or after practice

  • Be respectful of others and their space (Even though Covid numbers are low, the Virus is not gone. BE SMART!)

  • During Full Band Camp - Drop instruments in band room after being checked in and immediately exit to the practice field (If you arrive early, you still need to follow this direction)

  • Leadership Camp (Main Campus)

    • Squad Leaders & Drum Majors Only​

      • Wednesday, July 13th (8am-4pm)

        • Students should bring their own lunch & snacks

        • Students are not permitted to leave campus 

  • Color Guard Camp (Main Campus)

    • Color Guard

      • Wednesday, July 13th - Friday, July 15th (8am-4pm daily)

        • Students should bring their own lunch & snacks

        • Students are not permitted to leave campus 

  • Freshman Camp & Percussion Camp

    • ​Freshman, Percussion, & Front Ensemble

      • Thursday, July 14th & Friday, July 15th (8am-4pm daily)​

        • Students should bring their own lunch & snacks

        • Students are not permitted to leave campus 

  • Full Band Camp (Main Campus)

    • Mandatory Parent Meeting Monday, July 18th 7pm in the Commons​

      • ALL Band Members​

        • Monday, July 18th - Tuesday, July 26th 8am-8pm Daily (excluding weekend)​

          • Lunch, Dinner, & Snacks will be provided

          • Students are not permitted to leave campus​

  • ​Evening Camp (Main Campus)

    • All Band Members​

      • Wednesday, July 17th - Friday, July 29th 5pm-8pm daily​

  • After School Practices 

    • Beginning August 2nd​

    • Tuesday & Thursdays 4pm-6pm
